About this tea: a bold taste and lightly smoky, and higher in caffeine than most other green teas. Gunpowder tea is a classic green tea hailing from Zhejiang province, China. Gunpowder tea is made up of leaves hand-rolled into tiny pellets resembling buckshot.
Ingredients: Chinese Gunpowder green tea
Steeping Instructions: Pour 6 oz. heated water (170-180˚F) over 1 teaspoon tea leaves and steep 2 minutes. Remove leaves and enjoy. Re-steep as desired. NOTE: You may also use boiling water, and infuse for about 30 seconds.
